PREMIUM QUALITY TRAINING
Developed in 1999, QUICKLOCK is being installed at a rate of 15,000 units per year throughout Europe, it's recently entered the US market; and now QUICKLOCK Australia have established AQTF training & undergone a full industry appraisal to provide the local market access to this quality trenchless product.
QUICKLOCK Australia has established a training package to align with the Manufacturer's training and warranty requirements and the Australian Quality Training Framework standards.
QUICKLOCK installers only receive instruction from a qualified instructor, with adequate training time to cover installation variables through both theoretical and practical assessments.
As a prerequisite to undertaking the QUICKLOCK installation training course, the 4-6 or more trainees must be competent and current in Confined Space Entry and hold a relevant construction industry induction competency.
The QUICKLOCK pipeline rehabilitation system (and other seemingly straightforward trenchless systems and products) operate on fine tolerances to minimise disruption to the asset being rehabilitated and its subsequent maintenance. Requiring a complex understanding of robotics, pneumatics, CCTV operation and defect coding, the quality of training for the system's installers becomes as integral as the product's materials and the engineering itself.
The training comprises a 2 day course, involving a full assessment of skills and knowledge, whereby candidates must demonstrate competencies in drainage identification and repair. Successful candidates are issued with a QUICKLOCK Installer competency ID card and certificate. Training is required to be re-visited every 2 years to ensure competencies are being maintained, as new product knowledge and updates are acquired.
